Name:
Short-term Mission School of the Methodist Theological School, of the Sarawak Chinese Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Malaysia. In short, "MTS Short-term Mission School".
Purpose:a
(1) To equip Christians to become Christ’s disciples for the advancement of the Gospel.
(2) To provite in-depth study for young Christians who are involved in various ministries in the church, for the purpose of more effective ministry.
(3) To help Christians who have dedicated their lives to be sure of God’s calling.
Duration: January of 2007(1 month)
Registration time: Before 12noon on 1st of January, 2007(Monday)
Opening Ceremony: 9:00am on 2nd of January, 2007(Tuesday)
Course Content:
Bible & Spiritual Formation (6 hours per week)
Evangelism Training (6 hours per week)
Introduction to Mission (6 hours per week)
Christian life & Church Ministry (6 hours per week)
Choir (2 hours per week)
Short-term Mission exposure trip (1 week)
Mode of Study:
(1) 3 weeks of intensive study and 1 week of field exposure.
(2) Through a communal living (all students must stay in campus; attend morning & evening chapels, and campus activities).
Qualification:
(1) Born again Christian, already baptized & confirmed (actively involved in ministry).
(2) With SPM or Senior High or above qualification.
(3) Age 18 and above, physically healthy, psychologically and spiritually sound.
(4) With an obedient heart, be consistent throughout the course, able to love people and willing to work hard.
(5) Must have formal recommendation from church pastor.
Procedure of Application:
(1) Get an application form from your church pastor or download the form and fill it.
(2) Write your salvation testimony, and why you want to study this course.
(3) A photocopy of your school result and certificate, together with 2 copies of passport-size personal picture.

(6) The MTS has the final authority to accept or reject any application.
The Fee: RM 565 per student, inclusive of the room & board and school fee, but excluding student’s pocket money and book allowance.
Financial Resources:
(1) Sponsored by the church/church members.
(2) Self-support.
