本院卫斯理研究中心于2016年7月28日8.30pm于卫国礼堂举办了第十三届的时代课题交流会。当晚的主题为“重金属音乐是邪恶的吗?”，由礼拜与音乐系主任卢臻长牧师主讲。

Wesley Centre of Research and Practical Theology of our school organized the 13rd Dialogue on Topic of the Times (Interaction on Contemporary Issue) at 8.30pm at Wei Kuok Hall on 28th July 2016. The topic of the night was "Is heavy metal evil?". The theme speaker was Rev. Dr. Lu Chen Tiong, MTS Director of Worship and Music.

Dr Rachel Ting was here teaching a Theological Education by Extension (Family Ministry Major) course on "The Changing Family Structure" from 25th to 29th July 2016.

This year, MTS participated in the Borneo Cultural Festival held from 22nd July to 30th July 2016 again. We opened a booth with the theme "Happiness at the Next Station".

MTS celebrated birthday for the second half of the year and Parent's Day on 15th July 2016.
