MTS offers full degree courses since 1996. Our unique ministry is to provide theological education for ministers, musicians, missionaries and other leaders in the Chinese and the Iban churches.

General Admission Qualification

  1. The applicant must be a born-again Christian. He / She must provide evidence of a clear callling to full-time Christian Ministry and a commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church.
  2. The applicant is required to possess quality of integrity, faithfulness, diligence, sound health, willingness to live a community life and proficiency in languages such as English or Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia or Iban.
  3. The applicant must demonstrate their competence in handling theological studies by providing appropriate academic records.
  4. Applicants must meet a minimum age requirement of 18 years old, having work experience is advantageous.
  5. Candidates are required to pass the entrance examinations.

Application and Admission Procedure

The application form can be downloaded from MTS website. The application form is to be submitted together with the below supporting documents:

  1. A personal testimony of how the applicant becomes a Christian (1000 words).
  2. A personal statement of reasons of why the applicants goes into theological studies and full-time ministry (1000 words).
  3. Full academic records / certified copies of school / college / university certificates.
  4. Two recent passport-size photographs.
  5. One recommendation letter (Form obtainable from the school) from the applicant's church pastor and a letter of recommendation from Local Church Executive Committee.
  6. A medical report (Form available from the school).
  7. An application contribution is required for all applicants, including new, renewing, and returning students.

Extra documents as stated below are needed:

  1. Eight recent passport-size photographs.
  2. Certified photocopy passport (all pages).
  3. Full academic records / certified copies of school / college / university certificates (in English; translated by respective school / college / university).
  4. An application contribution is required for all applicants, including new, renewing, and returning students.

M. Min. applicants are required to submit an application form along with the following items:

  1. A statement about the applicant's history of service (year, churches/congregations, Boards of Annual Conference, position...); personal statement of history of service at AC (Year, Churches, Annual Conference, position...).
  2. A medical report (Form available from the school).
  3. A curriculum vitae (CV).
  4. A letter of recommendation from the AC Board of Ministry or related authority concern.
  5. A statement of reasons for the enrolment to this program.
  6. Two recent passport-size photographs.
  7. An application contribution is required for all applicants, including new, renewing, and returning students.

APPLYING... ...

  • Completed Application Form should reach the School before 15th September every year (For Malaysian). Overseas Application Form should reach the School before 30th June every year to facilitate the process of visa application.
  • Completed Application Form should be sent to the School with the following address:

  • Entrance examination and English Test are compulsory for those the school deem fit for admission.
