Rev James Hudson Taylor IV was the speaker for the MTS Missions Awareness Week from 20th February to 22nd February 2012. He also spoke during the morning service on 21st February 2012.

On 13th to 15th February 2012, three members of the accreditation team of Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA) visited MTS. They are Dr. Muriel Montenegro (Divinity School, Silliman University, Philippines) (middle), Daniel Nuhamara (former Dean, Faculty of Theology and now professor of Theology Faculty, Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga, Indonesia) (right) and Dr Limuel Equina (Executive Director, ATESEA) (left).
