诗巫卫理神学院（卫神）也加入帮助被大火侵袭的甘榜拿督灾黎。卫神将为数五千令吉的捐款捐给甘榜拿督救灾行动中心。卫神院长池金代牧师将支票移交给诗巫省长沈国基。砂拉越州议员YB Annuar Rapaee和卫神院牧陈发文牧师共同见证此举。透过这次公开的捐助，池金代牧师希望表达神学院对灾黎的关心。他也希望可以鼓励普罗大众继续伸出援手帮助在困难中的灾民。
Methodist Theological School (MTS) is joining in the efforts to help the victims of the recent fire in Kampung Datu / Hilir Sibu with a donation of RM5,000 to the Jawatankuasa Bencana Kampung Datu / Hilir Sibu. Rev Dr Tie King Tai, Principal of MTS, handed over the cheque to Mr Sim Kok Kee, Resident of Sibu Division. This is witnessed by YB Annuar Rapaee, Member of the Sarawak State Assembly for Nangka, and Rev Paul Ting Huat Ung, Chaplain of MTS. Through this act of public donation, Rev Dr Tie King Tai hoped to show concerns of the school to the victims. He also hoped to urge the general public continue to chip in to help at this time of troubles.
